Many contractors due to demand, were building so fast, that quality craftsmanship and long term customer regard were set aside.
With the great downturn in the Construction industry, many tradesmen are no longer in business.
For the most part we work directly with the home owner to give the customer a good product that will last for years to come in their home.If it were not for God's provision for my family & references from our previous customers Naylor's tile, would not be serving residents in Brevard County, especially in the past decade.

If we were having a conversation, I wouldn't tell you too much about my day time job of tile setting; however, I consider it the best fund raiser for the ministry God has called me too. I disciple boys for Jesus Christ, and I do that through Father son events and retreats. So my wife Becky and I purchased 10 acres in Florida. It's great having a helpmate that supports me in God's endeavers. I have been installing tile in Brevard County Florida since 1986. I also owned Naylor's WoodCraftsman, a custom wood cabinet shop up until January 1994.
Today, I mainly install showers, tub hops, backsplashes,flooring, complete bathroom remodeling, and occasionally build specialty cabinets for customers as well. Other projects include outdoor kitchens, woodburning pizza ovens and hardscapes. I love to do art work when there is a nice spot to lay in a classic mosaic design either in a forrier, bathroom, or centerpiece of a room.
Many times, the mosaics are just considered my signature on a project. The work is by reference only and usually customers that call me have seen projects in homes of family members, neighbors or coworkers.
It's a great compliment when I hear that many customers put pictures of my work on facebook, or allow visiting friends to see their new master bathroom.
I mean - Who takes guests into their private chambers? :)

Shower & Bath Remodels
I would have to say that our best work is in the shower. Literally.
Over 25 years of doing tile, we've seen about everything that could cause a shower area to fail. Water is a very destructive force. There is more to building a shower than the final stage of the tile setting. There has to be a full understanding of how to protect the integrity of the job and the rest of your home from moisture and mold damage.
Building Codes do not address how to successfully build a wet area in your home, and unless an installer has remodeled hundreds of showers and tub hops, he will not have the experience to know how to build a shower correctly. He must also care enough to apply that knowledge to the project. What is amazing is the number of New Construction homes with failed shower areas.
The One Year Warranty?
Contractors breathe a sigh of relief if they don't have to redo work before the standard one year warranty the County imposes on them.
A shower should last for a decade or more if it is built correctly.
Craftsmanship defined:
The tub shower area of my home was installed in 1958, the year before I was born!
It is still as sound as the day it went in.
That's what I'm talkin about !!!

Flooring
What I like about the trade is that permanent flooring such as tile, adds about 10% additional value to the home.
In many cases, respiratory conditions have been associated with carpet due to the humidity here in Florida. So it is not unusual for customers to want their entire home tiled just for health reasons alone.
I don't try to include mosaic work in every project, but when a customer has a beautiful forrier or a canvas above a Garden Tub, it just calls for a special touch to highlite that room.
The designs are all custom and are designed from any number of things I can see in your home or business. We have designed signature mosaics from family heirlooms such as an antique broche, fire screen, wallpaper...
-you name it!
That's what makes it fun, and custom.
Our most common forrier design is based on the lead glass door design in front entrance doors.
You'll see we even designed one below for a cat lover.
Business logos are a great first impression and we have traveled outside the State to install mosaics and flooring for a restaurant and a Printing business.
On a missions trip to Mexico, I was priviledged to install flooring for a church and install their logo in the sanctuary.
